People don’t realize that many problems in life can be solved by doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes stopping is what breaks the cycle.
We wind up with the same problems because we keep responding in the same ways. We can be so programmed and conditioned that we don’t even see the pattern: we take the same action, run into the same problem, and start the cycle all over again. It can happen in a relationship, at work, with our health, or anywhere else in life. Repeat the action, and you repeat the result. Sometimes the best thing you can do is stop and do nothing.
Why do we keep doing what we do? Because we believe it’s what we’re supposed to do. Our beliefs shape our actions, and some of those beliefs limit us. If you want to interrupt a limiting belief, do nothing. Simply doing nothing means you’re already doing something different.
Our lives are algorithms. When you react emotionally to what you dislike or don’t want, you invite the universe to send more of it your way. When you respond only to what you like and want, you invite more of that into your life.
Sometimes doing nothing is the strongest action. An active choice not to react can be more powerful than any other action. In our reality, what looks passive is actually active. Stop reacting to everything.
Listen in and find out how it’s done.
