Accessibility Statement
Gili Man Wolner operates jewish-motivation.com, Jewish Motivation’s English-language website.
We believe everyone should have equal access to information and services. We invest significant resources in making this website and our digital properties more accessible, so our services are more readily available to people with disabilities. In Israel, about 20% of the population has a disability and may need digital accessibility to use general information and services. Our goal is to make this website welcoming and easier to use for people with a wide range of needs, including motor and cognitive disabilities; low vision, blindness or color blindness; hearing impairments; and older adults.
Accessibility standards and testing
Vee Website Accessibility carried out the website’s accessibility work. The stated accessibility level is AA.
Vee adapted the site, as far as possible, for common browsers and mobile phones and tested it with the JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The work followed Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities accessibility regulations at level AA, the W3C’s WCAG 2.2 recommendations, and the Israel Government ICT Authority’s guidelines for making browser-based applications accessible.
Using the accessibility menu
An accessibility icon usually appears along the side of the site. Select it to open the accessibility menu, then choose the function you need. If necessary, allow time for the page to reload and the display to change.
To turn off a function, select it again. You can also reset all the accessibility settings at any time.
The accessibility software works with popular browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera, subject to the providers’ requirements. We recommend Chrome for the best experience in accessibility mode.
The site uses a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports standard keyboard controls. Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to select, and Esc to exit menus and windows. For the best screen-reader experience, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.
