From the day we were born, we were given a number. We were taught what’s forbidden and what’s allowed, we were put into molds and frameworks, and boundaries were set for us. A script was written for all of us. But what we don’t understand is that we have enormous power to create reality. Yes, whatever reality we want. No, it isn’t easy. It requires independent thinking, reflection and learning.
Life is like an augmented-reality computer game that you move through by thinking. Part of your soul incarnates here in a physical body. There’s a whole life script, there’s a beginning and there’s an end, and the choice is yours. There’s no joystick here. You move everything here with your thoughts.
The thing is that in the course of our evolution, at one stage or another, something wakes up inside each of us. Usually it’s through some kind of suffering. Something finally becomes too much: illness, a breakup, death. God spare us, there is no shortage of troubles. But something in you is calling you. It’s your soul, and it’s calling you to wake up, to see what is really going on.
Society loves those who stay in line. People don’t realize that their will determines what happens. They forget that this is a game built on free will. People don’t write their own story; they let others write it for them. They react to situations instead of creating them, and they let their fears run their lives instead of pausing for a moment and learning to think independently by investigating and asking questions.
Your soul exists whether or not you believe in the Creator. Everything here in Creation comes from the same Source, and that Source assumes and casts off different forms, colors and faces, doing everything to wake us up. As they say: wake up, soul!
