This episode is about self-respect, and I have plenty to say about it.
Self-respect matters for many reasons, but one is critical. Without it, you’ll keep looking outside yourself for the respect you lack within. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll seem hungry for recognition. It may simply show up as a constant need for other people’s approval so you can feel good about yourself.
When you can’t respect, appreciate, or love yourself, external approval becomes fuel that never lasts. At best, you keep needing another refill. At worst, it becomes addictive, and you’re caught in a loop. With self-respect, self-appreciation, and self-love, you fill your own tank and draw on an inner sense of fullness.
Self-respect means loving yourself more than you love the idea of other people loving you.
Self-respect also changes the way you approach the future. When you respect yourself, you take the wheel instead of simply going with the flow. You make plans. You have wishes and dreams you want to fulfill and things to look forward to. In that way, you become a partner in creating your future reality.
I don’t know what plans you have for the future, but I do have a suggestion for you: my flagship course, Bioutopia – Consciousness in Transformation.
There’s a saying that bakers shouldn’t praise their own bread, but I’m not really talking about my baking. I say this with humility: this course is a gift from the Creator, a gift for you and for me. What you do with that is a matter of your own desire and free choice.
