Healthy Soul, Healthy Body | The Truth Hurts, Episode 58

Episode 58 · May 23, 2024

Episode notes

Marking Inflammatory Bowel Disease Awareness Month, Gili and Tal explore the connection between a healthy soul and a healthy body.

The episode starts from the premise that every illness has its roots in the soul. Rabbi Yuval Asherov defines illness as the body’s correct response to an incorrect stimulus. In this view, illness ultimately comes for our benefit: it leads us back to the foundation, the soul, and gives us an opportunity to take charge of our emotional system and use it wisely.

The conversation turns to the emotional challenges that can accompany physical and mental illness, and how we can face them. Gili and Tal talk about understanding and comforting ourselves, how emotional triggers can affect the body, and how every organ has its own energetic vibration. They also discuss how responding to our emotions in healthy ways can help maintain the health of our organs and, in turn, the health of both body and soul.

Join us for an in-depth conversation about a healthy soul in a healthy body.

About the podcast

Listening to The Truth Hurts feels like sitting in on a healing session.

The truth can hurt. It’s right there in the name. But we’re not here to cause pain. Quite the opposite.

In each episode, two women sit down for an honest conversation: an Emotional Healer and her client.

We talk about healing and consciousness, faith and science, the body and soul, personal growth, energy, and different approaches to healing. Above all, we face the truth no one says out loud: everything around us is upside down.

Is this podcast for you?

  • You want to hear the truth, and you’re ready to face it. (Yes, those are two different things.)

  • You want to make a change.
  • You want a deeper understanding of the laws of the universe.
  • You want to live a healthy life in body and soul.

You don’t need any prior knowledge. You only need the desire to explore a wide range of ideas and discover practical guidance for living.
