What does it mean to enter the Garden of Eden here on earth? The answer begins with understanding that you are the Creator, and that the Creator is love. Every soul comes from the same mountain. We are made of the same substance and come from the same Source: love. The idea of a punishing God is a human invention, created to control other people. It has worked remarkably well for generations.
Life does not discriminate in anyone’s favor or against anyone. The Creator is life itself, and the essence of that life flows through you right now. Creation is rooted in love, and the Creator’s intention is good. What we do with it is our part in the game of life. That is free will.
Your life reflects how you see yourself. We mirror one another, and nothing is outside you. I know you’ve heard that a million times, but it is worth being precise about what it means. Don’t get drawn into cheap New Age spirituality, with mentors promising that you can manifest a million dollars a week, a new car, or a hot blonde. It is a trap that keeps you in the Matrix while presenting itself as spirituality. An obsession with manifesting material things traps us in endless desire and attachment. It keeps us confined to the physical instead of recognizing that we are the creators.
Life is not about manifesting material things. Stay focused on the goal. Be fully authentic, and shed every self-protective persona you’ve built. Accept yourself, whatever is happening. Know that you chose to enter this world for a purpose, and that purpose was not to manifest a car or a house. The journey is about discovering the Creator, recognizing the love that you are, and embodying it here. It is your birthright to be happy, to enjoy life, to feel safe, and to feel at home in who you are. The goal has always been heaven on earth: revealing yourself as love, just as the Source you came from is love, right here in this world.
One place to begin is by refusing to let other people’s expectations define you. No one else gets to decide who you are. That choice is yours. Treat yourself with compassion, and give yourself the time and quiet you need to discover who you are. Be patient with the process. Take pride in the boundaries you set with other people; they are an expression of self-love. Protect your energy. Other people’s opinions are none of your business. Let them go, and bring your attention back to yourself. Commit to yourself before you commit to meeting other people’s needs.
You are enough. You were born enough. You were simply sold the lie that you weren’t. Scientifically speaking, no one else is like you. There never has been, and there never will be. Know yourself. Be yourself. Authenticity comes before everything else.
